Type 70/40-6

- motor block dimensions 150 mm x 120 mm; app. 2 litre volume; weight 4 kg
- rotor 70 mm diameter; height 40 mm
- sliding vanes 4 mm thick; length 22 mm; radius 2x 1.3 mm
- hump ring outer diameter 150 mm with 9.4 mm max. hump
- induction stroke and exhaust stroke are similar
- calculated compression 1:14
- single chamber volume 16 cm³; total chamber volume 96 cm³
- permanent rotational speed 5000 1/min at 20 m/s circumferential speed
- torque 19 Nm (up to 10 kW at 5000 1/min) ~ 200 Nm/Liter

Uncertainties in the construction:

- combustion pockets may enable overflow of gas from the exhaust into the intake
- exhaust may open to late
- hump curve in the hump ring may not be optimal, motion of the sliding vanes may be to rapid
- sliding vanes may be to short, and the radius not optimal
- optimal position of the ignition plug is extremely dependent upon the rotational speed
- through incomplete combustion sliding vanes may stick to the slots and not move out.
- slots in the rotor may need more air in the bottom of the slots for the sliding vanes

Miscellaneous:

- cooling of the casing with water spray + interior drive shaft cooling
- operation with two different ignition plug positions as well as with mechanical contact battery ignition possible
- gasoline as well as with propane gas acceptable
- shaft bearing partially unlubricated or with water droplet lubrication
- bottom of the slots with and without exterior help of compressed air
- sealing between laterals and hump ring are unnecessary
- only slight leakage in the journal
- high pressure test with only slight leakage
