Everything began in summer 2002.

I was interested in the electrical charge of a 4- stroke engine. I had undergone countless tries with impeller drives in the model making area. My target was an improvement of the engine performance at the touch of a button. The added dynamic pressure through the impeller should improve the performance comparable to the Ram Air intake as seen in the fairing of motorcycles. To my disappointment impellers from model making with their open construction were not able to deliver the necessary pressure.
During the search for an appropriate compressor type, which I wanted to run electrically, I discovered the rotating compressor. This compressor type turned out to be efficient, compact,
well-engineered, and robust. The vacuum for instruments in sports planes e.g. have been produced using this same principle.

One night, lying sleepless in bed, I had the idea, to incorporate the 4 stroke combustion process into the circular process of a rotating compressor. The direct conversion of torque into the rotatory motion, the missing oscillation mass, the hugh lever arm, and the rapid chain cycle stimulated my thoughts so much, that sleep was now impossible.

Without knowing, if anyone had already come up with the same idea, I was so much convinced, that I began with first sketches, and in December of 2002 the first animation of my motor was complete.
