I would like to thank my wife Barbara, who, through her daily work, manages to secure an income for our family. Despite our low household budget, she always assisted me in the realisation of my ideas. She always helped with the necessary small change for urgently needed parts.

I would also like to thank my children, since I would not have become a house husband without them. Currently I have the chance to be close to them and to educate them to a great extent. They taught me the necessary patience, which are necessary for the realisation of my projects.

I would also like to thank Hans-Peter Schwan (FS Motor Control OHG, Kitzingen), who from the very beginning was always open for my ideas and often helped me with the fine tuning of the very first prototype. For my sun Valentin the RotaTorque was also a noise pot, since whenever he visited the RotaTorque, it was loud and smelly.

I would like to thank Dr. Ing. Walter Thiele (SGL- Carbon GmbH). Since April 2004 he gave me a significant amount of help and assistance in the development of the RotaTorque. Without him, the RotaTorque would still be only a sketch in my drawer.

It is unbelievable how far I have been able to develop my idea. Patience and stamina were necessary to come so far. I do not want to imagine how many ingenious ideas will never be developed, because of the lack of support. On the other hand it is astonishing for me to see how many expensive patent applications will never cover a real invention and are therefore without any actual value.
